After months of speculation, the Crazy Horse Too topless club announced
plans to build a new building, but hit a legal barrier with a coincidental
name. Facing competition from two mega-gentleman's clubs about to open
less than a half mile away - the $25 million dollar Sapphire, and the $15
million dollar BoardRoom - the aging Crazy Horse recently failed to evict
its next door neighbor, Buffalo Jim Barrier owner of Allstate Auto Repair,
to make room for its new project.

156 acres of prime west Las Vegas land from a former Mayor, a group of

She told me that she felt that the Stupak/Lurie election had been tampered
with. She also said that she and her deputies were ordered out of the ballot
counting room for more than an hour during the main part of the count.
She stated that during her absence the mayoral votes reversed in their
order and Stupak, who was leading in the count, lost his lead by several
thousand votes during her absence. Since the City Clerk is the chief election
officer during city elections, it was very unusual - possibly illegal -
that the Clerk and her staff would be removed from the ballot counting

The Mayor's proposal to charge teenagers $400 per year for a business
license is ridiculous and insults our intelligence when so many laws are
clearly being broken! Under existing city, county, and state laws, teenagers
presently have no place in topless and bottomless bars hustling drinks
or trying to "make a living, as the Mayor stated, " in very private VIP
rooms behind closed doors. Oscar should either change ALL the laws, or
enforce the existing ones equally between the city and county - period!
To not do so is an invitation for a Writ of Mandamus to compel the City
of Las Vegas to enforce its own ordinances. If a Writ of Mandamus is sought,
and it certainly will be if the Mayor's scheme is approved, taxpayers should
not pay expensive private attorneys to defend Oscar's friends in the trade.
